Shot Blasting

This is a process where metal angular grit is shot at the product under high pressure, which removes all paint and debris from the metal surface. This gives the metal a very clean surface, so a higher quality finish can be achieved. This process is ideal for cleaning old metal products, particularly Cast Iron, such as gates and railings, fire places, plant urns, old pots and pans. It is also ideal for cleaning old farm machinery which is to be used for display purposes. Adare Iron Works provide a full Shot Blasting service.

Our shot blasting cabinet is 8m x 3.5m x 3m which means we can handle larger products.
